New lathe strengthens Mectalent’s machining capacity
Mectalent has invested in a new CNC lathe. The model is a 2-axis slant-bed CMZ TD55YT-2200. The new lathe enhances Mectalent’s machining capabilities, particularly in the production of medium-sized and technically demanding components.
–The machine’s Y-axis and tool turret enable versatile machining in a single setup. This improves work efficiency and precision while reducing lead times, says Production Manager Tuomas Kemppainen.
