We produce equipment based on the customer’s drawings, using both parts machined in-house and standard components sourced externally.
At Mectalent, we manufacture both individual devices and serial productions. We conduct functional testing on the devices we manufacture and can deliver them directly to your end customer from our factory.
In equipment manufacturing, we have expertise in new technologies related to, for example, cryogenics, vacuum technology, and roll-to-roll technology. We operate as a contract manufacturer for companies in health technology, defense, and new tech industries.
Equipment manufacturing work process
The equipment manufacturing process begins with a consultation. At this stage, we discuss needs, wishes, and requirements, and describe the manufacturing services we offer. We carefully analyze the task at hand and how we can best support our customer.
The next phase is design. Our experts study the customer’s order and plan the best methods and processes to approach it. Drawings and plans are created at this stage for the customer to review and comment on.

Once the final product has been refined based on the prototype to meet the customer’s requirements and expectations, full production can begin. It is essential to carefully plan the manufacturing process and utilize our equipment manufacturing expertise to identify the optimal process. Quality assurance is always part of the manufacturing process. Finished products are inspected and tested against the quality criteria set by the customer.

Larger projects at Mectalent are managed by our project office, which ensures everything progresses in an orderly manner. Our experts can source the necessary ready-made components for the devices, while we machine the special parts ourselves.
