Sales Engineer Peetu Manninen (on the right) joined Mectalent's sales team on February 5, 2024. He works in quotation calculation and collaborates closely with both our customers and our production experts.
Joakim Granholm started as Mectalent's Production Manager on March 18, 2024. He is responsible for managing production and ensuring its efficiency. The Production Manager also participates in Mectalent's executive team.
Mectalent's manufacturing services provide customers with customized and high-quality solutions ranging from individual parts and prototypes to advanced component and equipment assemblies. About 80 specialists in their fields work in our manufacturing services.

We conducted our annual customer satisfaction survey in February. We asked our customers to share where we succeeded in 2023 and how we could improve our operations. Thank you to everyone who responded to the survey!
The results of the 2023 customer satisfaction survey are in line with the results of previous years. According to the survey, the most important factors in choosing Mectalent as a partner for both product development and manufacturing projects are the quality and versatility of services, as well as the expertise of the staff. Our services received an overall rating of 4.0/5.0.
Product development services were praised for their flexibility and fruitful discussions, even on challenging topics. Areas for improvement were identified in project communication and delivery times. According to customer feedback, our manufacturing services succeeded in the quality of parts and customer service. Throughput times were mentioned as an area for development.

In January, we expanded our manufacturing services by implementing a new Fanuc Robodrill α-D21LiB5 machining center.
With this acquisition, we are updating our machinery and simultaneously increasing our production capacity. The purchase of the machining center aligns with our strategic goal to be at the forefront of manufacturing demanding parts and products.

At Mectalent, our work is framed by the certified quality systems ISO 9001 and ISO 13485. Auditors evaluated our operations in January, and we received approved quality system certificates for use again for the next three years.
Quality is both the source of our motivation and the guarantee of our competitiveness. We continuously strive to improve our work, learn more, and achieve better results because we understand that quality is not an end goal but a continuous process.
The quality objectives set for our work are part of the continuous improvement process at all levels of Mectalent's operations. We systematically monitor key performance indicators, as they help us develop our operations and achieve our goals.
