Mectalent has invested in a new CNC lathe. The model is a 2-axis slant-bed CMZ TD55YT-2200. This new machine enhances Mectalent’s machining capabilities, particularly in the production of medium-sized and technically demanding components. 

–The machine’s Y-axis and tool turret enable versatile machining in a single setup. This improves work efficiency and precision while reducing lead times, says Production Manager **Tuomas Kemppainen**. 

The commissioning of the new lathe is part of Mectalent’s ongoing investment in manufacturing technology and strengthening its competitiveness. The company continuously develops its processes and invests in modern solutions that support customer-oriented, high-quality operations.
