Mectalent Oy, an Oulu-based expert in precision mechanics and demanding equipment manufacturing, has bought the majority of Conseptas Oy's shares from the company's management.
Founded in 2011, Conseptas offers e.g. product development services for international manufacturers of electromechanical products, such as product design for consumer products. The company's staff has decades of experience in product design.
“Through the transaction, we will have very strong expertise in conceptualizing and bringing new products to market. In the future, we will centralize the entire design business to Conceptas and are able to offer our customers more comprehensive design services, ”says Tapio Harila, CEO of Mectalent.
Kari Vatka, CEO of Conseptas, will continue in his position as before. The share transaction also has no effect on the position of the company's personnel. Reception's recruitment needs will increase significantly - especially in mechanical design, project management and industrial design.
